Patient Care at Toronto RehabOur patients are at the centre of all the work done by every staff member at each of Toronto Rehab's five sites in each of our clinical, research and education programs.

After all, Toronto Rehab's vision is to advance rehabilitation and enhance quality of life. Who are we striving to do that for? Our patients.

We provide a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services and complex continuing care for adults who experience debilitating illness or injury. Each of our clinical has grown from strong roots of knowledge, experience, compassion and innovation. And, each continues to be at the forefront of rehabilitation science, offering the latest advances in therapies and the highest quality of care.

Rehabilitation, by its nature, takes time and dedication.

Patients receive individual care from a team of health care professionals who not only understand this; they augment their patience and compassion with knowledge, expertise, experience and skill. As the field of rehabilitation science grows and new discoveries unfold, our health care teams are right there to provide the best care and help patients benefit from new therapies, methods and equipment.

But patient care at Toronto Rehab reaches beyond even the patient and the health care team to include family. Family members are encouraged to participate in the patient's recovery, when appropriate. This may happen in a variety of ways such as participating in the patient's therapy routine while still in hospital or learning how to care for their loved one when they return home.

In this section of our website, you'll find detailed information about each of our six clinical programs: Cardiac Rehab, Complex Continuing Care, Geriatric Rehab, Musculoskeletal Rehab, Neuro Rehab and Spinal Cord Rehab plus information about Long-Term Care and other services we offer.
