Program guidelines
Participate in interactive discussions, workshops, and plenary sessions that span a wide range of controversies and challenges in the diagnosis of mild traumatic brain injury.

This one-day program will include a review of the latest evidence on mild traumatic brain injury, as well as challenging aspects of diagnosis. In addition, the use of MRI in diagnosis and the psycho-social and neuropsychological implications of MTBI are examined.

Workshops will focus on conditions such as post-traumatic dizziness, post traumatic stress disorder, and the assessment of symptom validity.

Finally, an interactive round table will complete the program, in which Mild Traumatic Brain Injury is on trial: legal counsels take opposing sides on cases developed by clinicians in a mock jury trial, reveal the controversies surrounding MTBI in a courtroom setting.  In this interactive session – you will be the jury!

We are applying to have this event approved as an accredited group learning activity as defined by the Maintenance of Certification of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
