Heart disease causes the deaths of more Canadian women than any other disease, including breast cancer. It's an alarming fact, but one that we have the power to change.

Get the facts. Learn everything there is to know about the risk factors for heart disease and what you can do to reduce your risk.

At Toronto Rehab, we work with women every day who come to us following a heart attack or heart procedure to help reduce their risk for a second heart event. We also work with women who have a family history or risk factors for heart disease, and who want to reduce their risk for developing it.

The truth is - heart disease is largely preventable. There are risk factors that you can control. But only you can take those first steps towards a healthier heart. Take charge of your health. Use the information in this guide to help put you on the right path to a healthier lifestyle.

Protect yourself. Protect your heart.
