6:00 to 8:30 p.m. Presentations, adapted sports demonstrations and information booths
This free public evening event will emphasize strategies to overcome barriers and empower individuals with a physical disability to lead richer more independent active lives by becoming involved in physical activity and sport.
Presentations by two paralympic athletes: Irene Van Eenoo, basketball athlete who competed in Barcelona and Seoul Paralympic Games and Clayton Gerein, wheelchair racer who has won 7 gold medals, 2 silver medals and 5 bronze medals in the last 5 paralympic games that he participated in.
