Toronto Rehab’s Cardiac Rehabilitation and Secondary Prevention Program is pleased to offer a one-day symposium on cardiac care, rehabilitation and secondary prevention, Strengthen the Core: Embrace the Frontier of Cardiac Rehab, at Toronto Rehab’s Rumsey Centre.

Clinical experts will share their cardiac rehab knowledge and best practices during an interactive and inter-professional education day with informative presentations, hands-on workshops and panel discussions to provide attendees with a tool kit so that they can immediately apply what they learn in their own clinical settings.

This conference will address cardiac rehab–specific challenges and help build best practices and leading program models. Cardiac rehab professionals – physicians, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, kinesiologists and cardiac technicians – will be informed on topics related to heart failure, resistance training, nutrition, diabetes and VO2 testing.
