Toronto Rehab co-sponsors or administers a variety of education funding opportunities for students and staff pursuing further education in rehabilitation and complex continuing care. These include:
Toronto Rehabilitation Institute Scholarship in Rehabilitation-Related Research for Graduate Students with Disabilities
The scholarship supports the education and training of masters and doctoral students with disabilities who are studying in a rehabilitation-related field and intend on contributing to rehabilitation science as researchers.

This is an excellent opportunity for qualified graduate students
enrolled at the University of Toronto, and:
who are in financial
need
who are in research
training either at Toronto Rehab or another suitable institution
whose studies will
further the strategic directions of Toronto Rehab

Pat Lyon Nursing Fellowship
The goal of establishing the Patricia Lyon Nursing Fellowship
is to further the development of the nursing leadership, patient
care, teaching and research missions and goals of Toronto
Rehab, by providing financial support for graduate nursing
students. This will be accomplished by providing fellowships
to students in financial need enrolled at the University of
Toronto (U of T), who are employees of the Toronto Rehab or
whose studies will further the strategic directions of the
Toronto Rehab.

Kirshenblatt Awards
Scholarships have been established by Rabbi Jacob Mendel Kirshenblatt, in memory of his wife Annie Kirshenblatt who passed away on 10th January 1984 in The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Toronto (now known as the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute), and in memory of his daughter Shoshana Philipp who passed away on 24th April 1979. The purpose of the scholarships is to provide encouragement, recognition and assistance to aspiring persons who are studying in the field of Gerontology.
