South wing demolition
Demolition of the south wing is in progress, to make way for a new 13-storey patient care and research wing. The demolition should be completed by the end of July 2008.   The south wing will be dismantled floor by floor, beginning at the top level.  Click on this link for a bird’s-eye view of the demolition progress.
