Toronto Rehab uses a self-screening system for protecting the health of patients, visitors and staff. Self-screening is in keeping with our vigilant approach to infection control.
We thank everyone for their continued cooperation.
Summary of self-screening:
| | Everyone entering Toronto Rehab's doors is responsible for screening themselves, using the screening tool posted at entry points. |
| | Volunteers, students, contractors, visitors, and outpatients who have any of the symptoms posted may not enter Toronto Rehab. |
| | Hand washing is required when entering and before leaving our buildings, and prior to and after contact with each and every patient. |
| | If a visitor appears to be ill, staff will ask the visitor to leave the hospital. |
For more information on the importance of self screening and hand hygiene, visit Toronto Public Health website at www.toronto.ca/health.
