Stakeholder Rooms

These specially-outfitted rooms will be a place where researchers can interact with consumers and other stakeholders to get their perspectives on assistive devices. Researchers will conduct consumer focus groups to understand user needs and expectations of assistive devices. The space will consist of two interview rooms equipped for video recording and an observation room with one-way windows for observing focus groups. Information gathered here will be important when making decisions about the practicality, reliability, attractiveness and marketability of various new assistive devices.

The stakeholder rooms will be located at Toronto Rehab’s University Centre at 550 University Ave., Toronto. They are scheduled for completion in February 2012.
