Mail, Gifts and E-mail Greetings

You can have mail, flowers, balloons or other gifts delivered to you while you are here.

Please note: We do not accept deliveries for any patients who have indicated they do not want any information given out to the public about their stay in hospital.  For more information about privacy, please see Section 7 - Your safety in your admissions binder.

Incoming mail

Mail is delivered directly to patient units every day.

Outgoing mail

Outgoing mail with postage can be placed at reception for daily pick-up.

Balloons

Balloons made of Mylar are welcome. Latex balloons, which can cause allergic reactions, are not allowed anywhere in the hospital. Please do not bring latex balloons or other latex products into Toronto Rehab.

Flowers

Flowers for patients are welcome, except in areas where infection is a concern. Please ask your care team for more information.

E-mail greetings

We offer a service on our website at www.torontorehab.com for people to send e-mail greetings to patients. Messages are printed off, sealed in an envelope and delivered by one of our volunteers within three business days.
