Accessibility

We try to make our facilities and grounds as accessible as possible to people with disabilities. If you have an accessibility issue related to our buildings or grounds, please let us know.

Assistive devices will be accommodated to the best of our ability. We also provide access to some assistive devices, such as personal listening devices, computers and pointing aids.

Service animals—those trained to help patients and visitors with activities of daily living—are welcome in most areas of the hospital that are not restricted to hospital personnel only. In cases where we are not able to accommodate a service animal, we will provide an alternate form of support to facilitate access to our services.

Support persons will be invited to attend meetings or treatments whenever possible. In cases where we are not able to accommodate a support person, we will provide an alternate form of support to facilitate access to our services.

For more information about accessibility or about how to ensure your needs are met, please contact a Patient Relations Representative at 416-597-3422, ext. 3207 or patient.relations@torontorehab.on.ca.
