Join the exercise program organized by Toronto Rehab and City of Toronto Parks, Forestry and Recreation
For Who?
For people with conditions such as stroke, brain injury or MS able to walk 10 metres (about 30 feet) with or without a walking aid.
What?
The exercise program is called TIME – Together in Movement and Exercise. The exercise class is designed by Toronto Rehab physiotherapists and led by exercise instructors in ongoing 12-week sessions, 2 times per week.
Where and When?
At your choice of two community centres:
North Toronto Memorial Community Centre (Avenue Rd & Eglinton area) Tuesday & Friday 11:30am—12:30pm.
OR
- Wallace Emerson Community Centre (Dupont & Dufferin area) Wednesday & Friday 12:15pm—1:15pm.
There is an optional social hour after each class. Bring your lunch and stay a while!
Registration Fee
About $85 per 12-week session (24 classes). If you require a subsidy, you can apply for the City of Toronto Welcome Policy – phone number 416 338 2000.
