The Evolving Complexity of the Musculoskeletal Client: Role of the Rehabilitation Assistants

Who: Occupational Therapist Assistants (OTAs), other rehabilitation assistants and students who work with MSK clients are encouraged to attend this workshop
This unique one-day workshop will outfit occupational therapy assistants with valuable knowledge on the emerging MSK rehabilitation trends and equip them with the latest knowledge. Participants will also examine their role within the evolving MSK rehabilitation world.
The event will feature the latest information and best practice on topics such as:
- Non-pharmaceutical pain management
- Post fracture behavioural challenges
- Shoulder and wrist rehabilitation
- Edema and pressure sore management
- Practical splinting skills
The day will be composed of plenary sessions in the morning and five concurrent workshops which will run three times in the afternoon. Please consult the program agenda for more details.
This education day will also provide attendees the opportunity to network, share experiences and discuss pertinent musculoskeletal issues that affect the quality of care provided to clients.

Cancellation Policy
A full refund, minus a $50 administration fee, will be issued for cancellations received via facsimile or e-mail
on or before Friday September 3, 2010. No refunds will be issued after this date. Refunds will not be granted to registrants who do not attend the conference.
