Preparing for Placement

Students must provide copies of the following documentation during the first week of clinical placement:

  • Fit Testing (record of mask)

  • Infection Control Education (on Toronto Rehab Intranet

  • Immunization RecordDocumentation of TB status

  • Current Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation Certification

  • Confidentiality AgreementWork/Education Placement Agreement

All students are required to contact their supervisor one week prior to their first clinical placement date in order to receive orientation to the unit, patient population, unit routines and preceptor schedules.  All students are requested to come prepared with identified learning objectives/outcomes for their clinical placement to ensure learning needs are addressed.
