Eligibility
To be eligible for these scholarships, applicants must be enrolled in courses or conducting research projects within programs that:

are related to the field of Gerontology

lead to a certificate, diploma or degree, and
-
are offered by a Canadian college or university that is affiliated with the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada. If university or college is outside of Canada, applicant must be a Canadian citizen or landed immigrant with the intent of working in Canada and the academic institution must be acceptable to the Advisory Committee.
Application
Completed application forms and references must be received by March 31 of every year. Additional application forms are available in the Awards Office of the affiliated colleges and universities. Applicants are invited to call the Education Office at 416-597-3422 ext. 3117 for further information.
Selection
Applicants will be advised of the results of the competition and awards before May 30each year. Award winners will also receive a citation and have their names inscribed on a plaque located at Toronto Rehab. They will be asked to attend the annual Celebrating Education Excellence Event to receive their awards., traditionally held in June.
