University Centre
Once the University Centre redevelopment is complete, patients and their families will have a state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility to support their recovery and return to their communities. These are some of the highlights of the new facilities:
o   Many outpatient services and clinics will be located on the 1st floor of the new South Wing, providing easy access for patients and family members.
o   On the 2nd floor, there will be a shared therapy space to house specialized therapy equipment for both inpatient and outpatient therapy.
o   A therapeutic pool
o   A roof-top garden
o   An auditorium for public, student and continuing professional education
o   Inpatient accommodation comprises mostly private rooms, but four-bed rooms are also designed with privacy in mind.
o   Spacious, accessible patient rooms and washroom. Each patient room has hand washing facilities.
o   On-unit therapy space will allow therapists to work more closely with patients and enable nursing and therapy professionals to work more collaboratively.
o   Each inpatient floor has a comfortable lounge for patients and visitors and a well-appointed dining room which doubles as an activity room.
