Project Status and Timelines
Status as of December 2010

Demolition of the old south wing at University Centre was completed in early 2009. Construction of the new 13-storey south wing began in Spring 2009 and is scheduled for completion in January 2011.
The exterior structure of the new wing is slated for completion by early Spring 2010. A ‘Topping Off’ event, attended by The Honourable Deb Matthews, Minister of Health and Long-Term Care for Ontario, was held on April 21, 2010 in celebrate this redevelopment milestone.
Renovations to the north and east wings of University Centre began in April 2010, and the entire redevelopment project is expected to be completed by early 2012.

All construction and renovations are complete and the entire University Centre building is occupied. The Musculoskeletal Rehab Program moves from Toronto Rehab’s Hillcrest Centre to the new University Centre south wing
