Public Awareness Campaign

1 in 2 of Ontarians will be touched by disability, either personally or in their immediate family. At Toronto Rehab, we're revolutionizing rehabilitation, because rehabilitation saves life.

Toronto Rehab has launched a campaign to draw attention to the promise and potential rehabilitation has to maximize life for people who have experienced disabling injury or illness. The campaign showcases the characteristics that make Toronto Rehab unique - quality and innovative clinical care and groundbreaking research.

Your support will ensure that we can continue to engage in the research and clinical innovation that lead to new knowledge, better care and better outcomes for our patients.

Our television commercial covers the breadth and scope of our patient care and research.

Find out how Toronto Rehab's innovative research and clinical care is making an impact on common health issues in our community from stroke and heart disease, to brain injury, spinal cord injury, and sleep apnea.

The commercial airs from October 2010 through June 2011 on most major television stations throughout the GTA.

In June 2009, Allyson Forshaw suffered a major stroke. She was unable to speak or use the left side of her body. Then she was transferred to Toronto Rehab. The second he regained consciousness after his motorcycle accident, Bill Young knew he was in trouble.  He found the help he needed in Toronto Rehab's Musculoskeletal Rehab Program.
